QII Portal Manual
Guide for the Quality Improvement & Innovation committee
Committee Overview
The Quality Improvement & Innovation (QII) committee drives continuous improvement across PNA-ERSA through post-event evaluations and community-driven ideas.
This portal has two tabs: Evaluations (anonymous post-event feedback analysis) and My Ideas Reports (community-submitted suggestions and complaints).
Both tabs are gated by the Quality Improvement and Innovation access key. Full and viewing access can search, view, and export data.
Evaluation data is always anonymous — no personally identifiable information is collected or displayed.
1. Portal Overview
The Post-Event Evaluation Portal is where you review anonymous feedback collected from event attendees.
After an event is completed and evaluations are sent, attendees submit anonymous responses through a public link.
You can search for evaluations by a specific event or by a date range covering multiple events.
Results include Likert-scale rating summaries, respondent breakdowns, qualitative answers, and individual responses — all exportable to PDF.
2. Choosing a Search Mode
Use the toggle at the top to switch between Specific Event and Date Range modes.
Specific Event: Select a single completed event to view all evaluations submitted for it.
Date Range: Enter a start and end date to view evaluations across all events that occurred in that period.
3. Searching for an Event
In Specific Event mode, use the search field to filter the event list by title or location.
Select an event from the dropdown that appears below the search field.
Only events that are completed, have evaluations sent, or have evaluation questions configured will appear in the list.
Click the Search button to load the evaluation results.
4. Understanding the Summary Cards
After searching, four stat cards appear at the top:
Total Responses: The number of anonymous evaluations submitted.
Questions Rated: The number of distinct Likert-scale questions across all evaluations.
Qualitative Answers: The total count of written (open-text) responses.
Events Covered: The number of events included in the search results.
5. Likert-Scale Summary
The Likert-Scale Summary section groups all rating questions by their section (e.g., Program & Content, Venue & Logistics).
Each question shows the average score out of 5 and a bar chart showing the distribution of responses (1–5).
Use the averages to identify strengths and areas for improvement across events.
6. Respondent Breakdown
The Respondent Breakdown section shows how many evaluations came from each membership status category (e.g., Regular, Associate, Guest).
This helps you understand which member segments are most engaged with post-event feedback.
7. Individual Anonymous Responses
The Individual Anonymous Responses section lists every evaluation submission.
Click any response row to expand it and view the individual ratings and qualitative answers.
Each response shows a response number, the respondent's membership status (if provided), submission date, and number of ratings.
Responses are anonymous — no name or email is displayed.
8. Qualitative Answers
Within an expanded individual response, the Qualitative Answers section shows written feedback.
Each answer is displayed with its corresponding question for context.
Use these open-text responses to capture insights that rating scales cannot measure.
9. Exporting a PDF Report
Click the "Download PDF Report" button to export the current search results.
The report includes the event details (or date range), all Likert summaries, respondent breakdowns, and individual responses.
This is useful for sharing evaluation results with leadership, committee chairs, or for quality improvement records.
The download button is disabled if there are no evaluations to export.
